About us
In 2015, Ryn & Kevin were living in downtown Beverly. They loved the city they lived in and enjoyed the things it offered but couldn’t help feeling there was something missing. A place people could go that was geared toward community while providing quality food and drink.
So even though neither of them had run a business before, Kevin & Ryn decided to open their own café & restaurant, opening The Castle in December 2015.
Since 2015 The Castle has strived to be a place for community building in all forms. We’ve hosted speed meeting (not just dating!) events, paint and sip nights, gaming meetups, stand up comedy shows, improv shows, stage magic, acoustic music, board game tournaments, and so much more.
Now located at 140 Rantoul St after an expansion and move in August 2023, we hope to offer better food, more gaming and socializing options, and above all, a place that cares for its staff and its community.
